I wish you were the weakest sublime, yet instead you are the turbulent nature of the most sublime being. I try to see you without philosophy but you remain an inherent part of my being that attempts to make sense of the fullest feeling. And I can only do that with you.

  3. Rania, I have been reading Kant's writings on the sublime, and it sparked something in me about how when feeling insecure, the object of your sublime affections can lead you to wishing they were a weak sublime, as a way of protecting yourself.

    It's a very interesting theory.
